Dear Readers:
I hope all my U. S.
readers had a wonderful 4th of July. Hubby and I took in a Dodgers game on
the 4th and I got to see the fireworks that night from our pool before a
nasty stomach virus gave me misery - the reason why this newsletter didn't
go out yesterday. I'm feeling much better today but sure do miss the cool
weather. We've already had several days topping 112 this summer and the
monsoon rains are expected to start in a few days. Bring on the rain!
Publishing news:
Last month, six of my novels were on the top ten bestseller list for
SynergEbooks at Fictionwise. To date, all of my novels have made that
bestseller list at one time or another. I'm thrilled and hope that sales
continue to go up, but most of all, I hope readers enjoy an pleasant
escape from reality when reading my work. My first novel,
The Mask of Tamirella,
a teen/tween post-apocalyptic adventure,
is now available for the Kindle. Desert Magick: Superstitions will
also be available for the Kindle very soon. You can now find all of my eBooks
at various online bookstores in just about any format you like, and
you can still order my paperbacks from Amazon and Barnes and Noble
websites or your favorite brick and mortar bookstore. The
audio book version of my
teen sci-fi
Quest for Freedom is for sale exclusively through my publisher at
this time

Current writings:
I'm researching and writing the third book in the Desert Magick
series and will be doing so for the next few months. I'm also making
mental notes for the 4th book and would like to edit another of my sci-fi
novels if I can find the time in-between writing and marketing. I also
have plans for another paranormal series but it will be a few months
before I can get started on that. I'm under contract for two more
Desert Magick novels after this current one is released. Now, if I can
only get a few clones to help me out with all this work....
Public
appearances: The paranormal weekend in Bisbee was a blast and hubby
and I met some great people. If you haven't visited my blog lately, you
can read all about the ghost hunts. I'll also be posting updates on the
photos, disembodied voices, and other evidence we found as our director
posts them on the ICPIR website.

Fun Stuff:
Well, the residential investigation has been canceled, since the
homeowners told us they got everything under control. For now anyway.
Meanwhile, we're looking into booking another local hunt. I'm hoping for
one of our haunted cemeteries. I never knew how many supposedly haunted
spots we have in the Phoenix area until recently. Lots of fodder for my
paranormal fantasy series and just plain fun for the odd detective in me.
That's all for
now. For updates on my
projects, appearances and general goings-on, please check back often.
Also,
I post photos and updates on my myspace
blog and facebook pages, so if you're on facebook and/or myspace, please add me as a
friend. Links are on my home page. If you wish to receive email updates
for this newsletter, book releases, and personal appearances,
please email me from my home page and let me know. And if you are
currently on my email list and no longer wish to receive updates that way,
please email me so I can remove your address.
Happy reading!
Regards,
Dana Davis
